      Hi,
I sent an email to Jim re. his Unfold plugin which I've started using. I'm looking for an auto-unfold option or plugin. Jim wrote one once but it's maybe lost, he's looking, and suggested I post here.
This is a request for an auto unfold option where there is a continuous unfolding a curved surface with lots of triangles.
I would like it for RC models where I skin the model with thin foam or flat, bendable sheets of fiberglass. The fuselage is defined as a set of frames, and I can loft between frames as a surface made up from a set of rectangles and triangles. The more triangles, the more accurate the unfold. If there is a large number of segments/triangles doing the unfold manually can be a bit of a pain. An auto-unfold option to start at one edge and unfold the section between two adjacent frames would be great. It doesn't need to unfold in multiple directions, Just one surface and a starting edge. That way I can cut the skins using Phlatprinter and glue them to the fuselage frame quickly.
Anyone know on such a plugin?

      Thanks in advance,
      Ivor
