View in a narrow room - how not to see through walls
-
Hi all,
I am making an animation. The walk passes along a corridor with a corner. At the corner the camera sees through the wall...
Is there a tip to force the camera not to see through the wall?
Thank you

Hi Carlo and welcome!
Unfortunately other than modifying your scenes camera movement to avoid passing through the walls, there's nothing you can do. Indeed in tight spaces it can sometimes be rather tedious.

Hi Gaieus,
thank you

Wasn't there at one time a setting in Walk to halt the camera before this happens? I did not check this, but I remember back in v6 maybe v7 using it a couple of times. This may not be a solution for your particular case.

Yes, the interactive wlk tool does have collision detection but I read OP is trying to make (i.e. export?) a (scene) animation.

That's why I said this may not be a solution, and I wasn't sure if this was exportable as a scene, or frame. Certainly not my area of expertise- if I even have an "area".

Hi SU fly, hi folks.
As explained by Gaieus, you must plan the camera path carefully.
See this SU file for ideas.
