TurboCAD 19 Delux
-
Yes, I know, why don't I go to TurboCAD webs site. I did and I can get more info from my neighbor's dog. One of the most worthless help sites I have ever encountered.
Lately, TurboCAD 19 has started adding text and dimensions backwards, or upside down and backwards. Been to the help file, nothing, did a Google Search nothing. I was just hoping someone here uses TC 19. Never had this problem with 18, however, once I get the problem, going back to 18 the problem still exist.
There are a lot of 4 letter words I could use right now, so lets just say, they gotten the last of my money. I am spending to much time trying to get program to function.
Note, it does't seem to be a driver problem, because I can open a new file and it well add text correctly.
And to add to the frustration, it will go away for a while then come back. Also, Double CAD has the same problem with the DWG copy of this file.
Frustrated with a dead line up coming.
Thanks in advance

Good to see you got things sorted out Ken. Is the TurboCad help site that bad? Folks here don't know how lucky they are

Well, Mike, I haven't been able to find a web site to help me with TubroCAD. As I upgrade, I don't get an up to date hardback manual. And the old hard back manual I have, has Deluxe and pro information and is not much help.
Yes, I visit this site each day that I am working. There is a lot of good info and not just on Sketchup.
Sometimes, I wish to give answer, but the Sketchup genius, are fast. I guess you could call some of the personal residing in this forum as Sketchup First Responders(SFR). You can tell a SFR by his attempts at orbiting every web page.
I know my problem doesn't have much to do about Sketchup unless you use TubroCAD or Double CAD, but I just thought any info concerning Sketchup could be helpful.
And to compliment this forum, I now earn my living just using Sketchup. This wouldn't have happen, or I wouldn't be as successful using Sketchup without this forum. And a big kudos to the plugin creators.
Thanks
OK, back to work.

Ok, found the problem. It has something to do with DWG's group/blocks coming into TurboCAD. After I exploded all the blocks the problem went away. To explode some of the blocks, I had to import the DWG blocks into Sketchup, than explode, than export as DWG, and then re-insert into TurboCAD DWG file format. A royal pain.
I only put this into a Sketchup forum, because I use TurboCAD with Sketchup and I believe there must be others that use TurboCAD to work with DWG drawing.
To those who think this is an advertisement for TurboCAD, I won't be buying the updates again. Getting to buggy for me and zero help in their help file or online.
This may be closed. Hope it helps someone. Had a long night to finish what should have been a couple of hours work.

Interesting that subsequent headings in each reply do not update. Re: Tubro vs Turbo
EDIT: That is, until my reply. Now, this really is a curiosity.

I have Double-CAD, but rarely use it. Didn't try the file on Double-CAD, just believe that Double-CAD is a subset of TurboCAD and could have the same problem. Didn't mean to imply that Double-CAD did have the problem.
Files been corrected.
Thanks for the offer.
