    Well, ... I have a problem I'm rookie in designing Sketchup (V.8.0):
    I
to design a logo with a certain type of characters which insert
directly with the 3D text tool, in principle put
2D to modify them as comfortable and later give the desired volume.
    the
problem comes when I want to increase the segments of curves
these letters and I found it quite impossible. I tried all
solutions I've seen various internet forums and videos,
    and nothing.
There is no way that the properties of
"Entity Info" let me increase the number of segments
the arches of the letters in question.
Anyone can help me please ? .... I'm a little desperate and with the problem.

Thank you very much, appreciate any solution or suggestions.
    Frank

You might try Fredo's Curvizard smooth function (plugin). Don't ask me , I am just learning to use it myself, but it works.

Bezierspline, by Fredo6 is another one. Has some conversion techniques. Please read the entire thread in which it is introduced, and its pdf user manual.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.
