Unfolding/ Straightening poly lines

Hi, I having problems straightening out p-lines. Is there either a tool for measuring the length of a line or a script for straightening the line out? I have hundreds of them to do and it's pretty slow going manually.

See if something in ThomThom's arsenal might help. There may be other tools.

If you are only looking for the length, simply right click on the p_line and choose Entity Info. If the line is composed of multiple segments then triple click on anyone of them to select all connected segments and the total length will be shown. You can also use the Text Tool. When you click on an edge, the default text will be the length of the edge or curve.
