Hi all. Am trying to render a streetscape 33mb 1,6 million faces in Reyflectron. I have a few years experience with SU modelling but not much experience with rendering. when the Reyflecton is processing the model it warns me "running out of free space" so i am not able to render. I am on a deadline for 14 hours time. I have a descent mother board and 8 gig of ram. Does anyone have any suggestions (my fall back will be just a "styles" 2d export..yuck!)I have gone as far as hiding a lot of items that are not seen in a particular view the reduce load but still will not render. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can cheat this to work?
Is Kerkythea less hungry ( Probably a really dumb question, i know)

I have attached a render to test the model but the model was in an early stage and the bare street is now quite full of.....well......stuff, so you can get an idea of what type of job it is.

Even a "bad luck thats how it is" would help as i would stop trying and go to plan 'B' 😞

Thanks guys, would appreciate any help at all πŸ‘

have you purged your sketchup file?

failing that, systematically hide parts of the model and try re-rendering. So, hide trees then render. Hide people then render, this way you know what geometry is causing the issue.

sometimes just one cutout person can stop a model rendering, due to a problem with the texture etc. I have used 150+ cutout PNG images in a rendering before, it kept crashing and just one single texture was responsible.
