Hi!
I'm trying to realize a centrifugal launcher. It is just a cilinder with a threaded ring that rotat and i want the ring to be launched or unthreaded from the cylinder.
I can't understand which joint to use with the ring w how.
Can anyone help me?I attach my project.

hi GEP
The probleme is not with the joint.
In first time , you need to make a pipe .
Please take a look on the next picture .In a second time , you need to create a cylinder
Please , look at my file , centrifugal 2
if you'd like more explanations , take a look on these 2 topics :

So let me clear concept in my mind.
I have to create a cylinder not from a circle but with multiple segments?
Is this the only way?
No settings for the ring group to make it work as a real ring?I noticed that if i don't group the ring with the cylinder, i can use a normal pipe, but the ring shift on the wrong direction, how to change it?

I DON'T THINK SO
PLEASE TAKE A LOOK ON THE TOPIC ABOUT READBACK COLLISION

As I told you, If I don't group the object, it work.
I attach an example....
Inthis example the problem is that i can't stop the centrifugal excursion at the collision with the main block.

Perfect! It seems to work now (and without creating a multiple coyies ring)
