Is there a way to view Layout files via a viewer ..... I need to markup with "red line clouds" architectural plans for correction revision ..... Layout allows me to make a lib. element i.e. a red line cloud with arrow line, and text box that I can reuse and adjust very simply ..... I need to send such redlined cloud to consultants via a pdf format ..... which everyone can view but not yellow highlight after they have made such changes and corrections ..... so my thought was is there a way to let people use Layout without purchasing SKU Pro just to get a yellow marker function to yellow mark such corrections???? This is a major function feature that all Construction professionals need and use and I have been looking for a solution to this problem ...... Adobe has such yellow marker function ..... but not exactly ..... again the issue is being able to yellow mark red cloud markup ..... so currently the industry standard is to paper print a digital pdf plan and use a red marker to cloud corrections with notes ..... scan such back into a pdf file .... send such pdf file to others ..... others paper print out such pdf file ..... do the corrections ..... and yellow mark the corrections completed ..... scan the completed corrections back into a pdf and then send it back to the original source of corrections for their records ..... I call this the "caveman office department" ..... maybe one day someone will invent fire, and then maybe the wheel ...... I can only wish ...... DKH

an engineering firm that i work with uses most of their suite and they swear by it.

their iPad app looks promising. just wish they made a mac version of their more powerful software.
