      This is the first of a series of video tutorials on using LightUp inside SketchUp.

      NB You'll need to choose HD / 720p quality to be able to read the dialogs etc.

      This first one covers the basics of placing light sources, IES lights in SketchUp.

      This second one covers navigation in TourTool, realtime Post Processing.

      EDIT: linked to HD version
      EDIT: linked to next in series

        Very clear! β˜€

        Curriously even in 480 HD quality text is not easy readable 😲

                @Adam
                Iv noticed on your video your using a MAC, and the tut doesn't benefit windows users in one part of the tut, for example to aim a IES file added to a light source you mention in the video you can pin point the direction of light by holding ALT and drag, i spent the past 2 hrs trying this and with no joy, i watched that part of the video a number of times trying to find what exactly i was doing wrong, and then by accident i held down the CTRL key instead of the ALT key, clicked and dragged and it worked, so for aiming a light source on a MAC its ALT+CLICK AND DRAG, Windows its CTRL+CLICK AND DRAG, can you please inform us window users in the tuts on the different key strokes, great tut but the different key kind of threw me off for a couple of hrs, or are you just trying to keep me on my toes πŸ˜†

                  Thanks for the heads up!

                  I've added an annotation on the video noting the different key for Windows.
