Getting ready to get blasted by the storm.
Lost a large tree in the pool & no power for 2days the last one.
Annoucements say be ready to be out up to 10 days for this one. -
Good luck to all of you in the path of this monster.
I was about to post (on a different forum) a comment about how lucky us left-coasters are to not have the perennially vile weather that afflicts the east, and we only have to worry about the occasional earthquake when… yo guessed it, a 7.7 a bit north of where I live.

So a tree come down on my nieces house on the front porch then a telephone crushes one of her cars (Not the new one)
Her neighbor next door didn't like the looks of the large tree in his front yard runs in, gets his kids, puts them in the car gets up the street and the tree comes down on the house crashing through the kids bedrooms.

75% of my town in NJ without power. Franklin Lakes
Mayor says will last 10 day at best. They say much longer.
Major damage to grid.
I have power on and off. Lucky so far.
All OK at my nieces, but moving her out her moms.
Neghbors house a total mess.
So many lost so much. The pictures, memories, can't be replaced.
Toll up to 48 dead over the whole area. -
Best pictures are from the UK, go figure.
