2D DXF export without a pro version?
-
Hi,
i wonder if there's a good way to export 2D DXF files out of sketchup like it is possible with the pro version but with a (free or paid) plugin only on the free version of sketchup?
I'm drawing different stuff that i'd like to export for milling and to transfer it to the CAM software DXF would be the only useful format.
Thanks for helping.

I've tried that but it produces broken objects in my cases with open shapes and other stuff - even on simple objects.

I just checked the STL/DXF-Exporter from guitar-list.com once again and this time it worked for the object i now had (which is rather simple) - i will keep an eye on that. If you don't know the plugin, it's here http://www.guitar-list.com/download-software/convert-sketchup-skp-files-dxf-or-stl

I use SU6/7 with a DWG/DXF exporter! Works fine every time. Cheeky I know but I don't like they way they just updated SU and removed this really important feature.

You can use Pro for 8hours for free. If U use it only for exporting dwgs, it should be enough for 8*60min/3min=160 exports, year, two, or 3?
