That picnic table is a nice concept, are the plans open source?

Yes they are but for the life of me I can't find the link to share with you.
          Here's the next best thing.

                Thanks davidheim1

Heres the sawhorses to if anyone would like them. They are kinda a copy of the saw dogs I seen once.

Nice projects! The sawhorses remind me about these :

                    Kurt,

I like your renders. They don't look perfectly photographic but they have a nice feel about them.

I'm curious about the sawhorses, though. It looks to me as if they would collapse if there was downward pressure on them and the feet slid on the floor. My inclination would be to build them with the notches on the tops of the legs reversed.

Thanks Dave. From what I understand they will be real sturdy, Also in the drawing I didn't draw in the strap on the bottom braces that you tighten to keep the legs clamped to the top board. This just and image I used, I plan to build a set soon.

The strap makes all the difference. If I didn't already have 8 sawhorses, I'd build a set. Actually, I might build a taller set. Thanks.

That last render is really good, too. 😉

Revivification of a very old thread, but I happened to run across the source plans for this, I think, from 1992 (and it seemed to be common then). From archive.org for the sake of protection:

I love this somehow "cardboardlike" concept 😄
And like Dave said above - these renders are prima! 👍 (which renderer is it?)

                                [funny: "sawhorse", in D it is a Säge(saw)-Bock(goat) 😄 ]
