Hello its me again I have a bit off a problem here I made my model in sketchup and now exported it thro fbx conv to 3ds max but the problems start with the textures only way ik how to do texturing and all that is photoshop and 3ds max. When i export I get an large number off pollys in my model even thoo i tried grouping and makin it a component. My question is there anyway to somehow atach all the components at 1 to each other to make 1 large component not 1 large component made out off 100 others.Bcs having those 1000 poly makes it inpossible to uvw unvrapp

Yes, you can merge/weld/glue all edges in blender, and also remove duplicate surfaces, here is a clip that i recommend watching and forward to 06:48 where blender is used to do exactly what you are trying to achieve but i recommend watching the full clip to understand how sketchups geometry differs from other applications
