Some time ago I created the DC "Box.skp". It was quite easy because it was built by a simple cube. No nested groups at all. The "Fridge.skp" seems to be more complicated. Finally I would like to get the option that I can set the overall width and depth and the height of the lower (fridge) and the upper section (freezer). I need a hint where i should start. Any suggestions?

      Regards
      Kurt

        Hi Kurt,

To make the door animations work, convert the Group into a Component. I think somewhere in the DC documentation it states that Groups can be used as well as Components, but Groups just do not behave the same as Components in all cases.

Making the freezer and fridge sections dynamic is much more of a challenge. You will need to make a more complex hierarchy of Components. I might try to make the Fridge a single empty box with a dynamic divider between the top and bottom. Then the divider can be positioned vertically based on the selected size of the freezer/fridge. The doors should not be too hard to make dynamic size they are rectangular shapes.

        Hi

I did it! πŸ˜„ The fridge does not look so well designed but it works as it should.
            Thanks Jim
