Billion Dollar Brain

"Harry meet the boss"

Very interesting model, well executed

Let me show how shallow and all-around ignorant I am - I don't understand what is meant by "Harry meet the boss"

-
Oh wait - is it like someone introducing a new employee to "the boss" (the computer)?
-
Thanks Hell it's a quote from the film which inspired the image. The film is called Billion Dollar Brain starring Michael Caine. Perhaps you are aware of Harry Palmer and the Ipcress File another famous film from this series.
-
Oh yeah, I saw that movie maybe 5 or 6 months ago. Don't remember that specific quote, but the film was pretty good. Didn't it co-star Karl Malden, and some guy in a cowboy hat was the head bad guy? I'll have to watch it again and see how accurate your model is

That's the one hellnbak, it's an excellent flick but i am biased to Len Deighton & Michael Caine ! Also check out Funeral In Berlin.

I know that movie!
Excellent rendition.
I don't what's inspiring you to do these old movie sets, but don't stop!
What's next? The war room from Dr. Strangelove?
-
Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory!!!
Hey, that does sound interesting, I may do that one!
-
Dr Strangelove's war room is actually on my list, i have already done some research on it ! It is also by the great designer Ken Adam. Cinematography & 3d rendering are kind of entwined for me, i like to give my images a narrative. These works are just me polishing my portfolio during quiet times , plus i actually enjoy it. Sketchup & Maxwell are my weapons of choice. I actually have something from English Heritage coming next i hope Tadema is watching ! Thanks for the comments guys.
