Artlantis lights

Hello all, I'm new to Artlantis. I'm using v4.1.7 64 bit.
I left the same post on the Artlantis forums, but you all seem to be more responsive
so I thought I'd do the same here.I'm getting frustrated with lights I create. About half the time I can't get the lights to show in the 2d view and even less than that percentage of being able to see the lights in the preview window. What is going on?
I select the light in the Light list but the 2d view doesn't update to show the lights, only the perspective views. Then at times when I see them in 2d view, they don't show up in the preview. Seems like hit or miss.

This is only somewhat facetious, but is there a switch you need to turn on?
Like, selecting the light is one thing, but do you need to move a visibility/intensity slider in reference to the scene? I get the sense that some of these programs have certain formalities to attend to. -
Thanks for the reply. I figured it out. Don't know if you're an Artlantis user, but each view has it's own setting and I wasn't aware of it.

Ben, I have to be honest that this was just a guess based on reading a lot of discussion over several years in the forums. I was hoping to maybe shake loose an idea that was waiting to hatch anyway. Glad you found the answer with or without my comment.
