I said i would give Houdini a trial and see what its made up of, my initial hope was to import a model i created in sketchup but im not being so successful, iv tried Obj, FBX and collade but nothing, has anyone here have experience combining both softwares or a workflow, i havent given up yet but usually when i look for help on here i figure it out about 5 mins after posting, lol hope that is the case here, but anyways i would like to know if anyone could direct me or share some tips and tricks, and if possible view results others had using Houdini and sketchup, thanks in advance πŸ˜„

Nope I didn't manage to succeed unfortunately, I'm aware FBX format can be imported but if the model in SU has texture it doesn't import the texture to Houdini, any help would be much appreciated thank you πŸ‘

Not I entirely sure but what you mean Rich, triangulate?

Normally i would use autodesks FBX converter to format my dae,s to FBX but I never had to do anything but click on the convert icon, never anything else, so this term triangulate is something I did not come by before 😳
