Howdie from Texas

Hey everyone,
I've been following these forums for some time now and I thought I would introduce myself. I am a Building Designer from Central Texas and have been working with SU for only about three months now. It's the most amazing piece of software I've ever used. In only a few days, I was turning out preliminary designs. Now, I'm trying to convince my employer that we need to focus on working exclusively with SU (instead of designing the house twice). I am still having trouble learning how to shade walls (no hatches in LO), and the dimension tool doesn't seem to be very precise.
Overall, very pleased though. Looking forward to chatting with y'all sometime.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my family is in Kerrville. We were there for about 2 weeks this summer.

That's only about an hour and a half away From me. With the worst drought in recorded history, the Hill Country isn't as pretty as it could be.
