Hy i'm Paolo from Italy and I'm quite new in SU...
I'm intereseted in creating 3d models from 2d self made sketches,
      importing images and drawing on.

I wonder if I can draw lines toggleing off any grid snap or constraint.
I need to put down end points free, without perpendicular, parallel, axis constraints.
The only thing I need is to rest on the same plane(wich is often the "face image").

I've coming from Autodesk Inventor and I find SU very interesting and some plugins
amazing in speed drawing. Thanks to all for your great work!!

Paolo, if you are zoomed out SU will snap to grid. If you zoom in very closely either the grid becomes smaller or it lets you snap off grid.

          Hi Paolo, hi folks.

Go to Windows --> Model Info --> Unitsand uncheck the box labeled Enable length snapping.

This will lessen the number of unwanted snaps.

          Zooming in will also help.

          Just ideas
