Something just doesn't feel right about that mini-waterfall. My 3D senses are tingling.
Other than that, beautiful work, love it.

I guess it's nice, if you like equisite, realistic renderings πŸ˜„

th3lurker, I believe that is a weir, not a waterfall.

          My avatar is an anachronism.

            th3lurker, thanks. Which waterfall πŸ˜„
Daniel, thanks. Yes it's a wier, further down the river are lots of "Salmon boxes" although I've never seen a Salmon! lots of river rats though.

So no sooner said than done huh? The cathedral too 😲 Ah but what happened to Buckingham palace? The Queen is still waiting for her Jubilee gift.

Well fantastic! I will proceed to feast my eyes. Only thing--the weir in the composition makes me want to see the foreground more. I am trying to look over the bottom of the frame... Why it's John, punting along!

              Thanks for posting!!! πŸ‘ Peter

It's not just a weir, it's the Wear [i.e. the river!]
Very nice - as we have come to expect !

On a side note... the main mill building shows the really old way of doing roofing in this area - there are local stone-slab slates used around the eaves, with [imported dutch?] orange clay pan-tiles on the main roof surfaces...

I think one of the apparent issues is the perspective looks a little strange, but then that's because the cathedral and the castle are built high up on cliff above the river level, and they dominate the relatively tiny mill building on the bank itself, I don't think the mill [in reality] has exactly square corners in plan either and the weir itself runs somewhat diagonally across the river too

Thanks Peter, we used to hire the boats and spend an hour messing on the river during our dinner hour!
Thanks TIG, I was wondering about the roof, almost straightened it out myself as it looked like a bodge.
Cotty, spot on. Street-view should show it better.
