Hi All, wondering if SU has the ability to just do straight line 2d drafting in black & white? And how about no sketchy lines in 3d?

      thx

You show that you have Sketchup 8 Pro version. That means you have the Layout extension. Also, the sketchy lines can be changed to plain lines by changing Styles. You can also draw in orthographic view in Sketchup. Is any of this what you mean?

Thank you Mit, I guess I am trying to achieve a 2d architectural presentation.(plan view / elev) I did not see any options for this in Style builder - only differing degrees of sketchiness. I have not had the time to learn layout(still trying to learn su) Is layout set up to draft 2d floor-plans etc?

          Thanks again

Layout is an extension of sketchup that allows you to arrange production sheets with views of your model.
As for drafting in sketchup, you can set your view to orthographic in Camera>Parallel Projection.
You can activate the toolbar Views for iso, top, left, right, front in View>Toolbars>Views. Click on this and a toolbar with little house icons will pop up.

            Does this help?
