I recently registered on this forum a few weeks ago & can't seem to finish my registration of uploading my "avatar" as it's always set to disabled, any idea what I'm doing wrong,,

Nothing's wrong. Newly registered members have some permissions disabled. Be patient and you can soon put an avatar on.
