Hello, I'm pretty new to SU and I'm using Su pro8. I'm drawing floor plans for my course. When I import this images from sketchup to layout they appear quite faint. Is there anyway to darken the lines in my image either in sketchup or layout.

I've managed to do one with no problem, so I've obviously missed something here.

      Thanks for any help!

(no stress but assignment due in in 2 days!!)

First of all, check your SketchUp style. The best (most) contrast you can get is with white background (no ground and sky) and with black edges.

Now when in LayOut, for simple linework like floorplans (assuming you are not texturing them with image materials), the best is vector based rendering which will give you crisp, nicely antialiased lines at any resolution.

All solved, thank you for your help. I'd coloured the background wrong in sketchup.
