Customizing my toolbar on a MacBook Pro and each time I close and restart SketchUp I lose my icons.
SketchUp native icons stay put... but I lose 'mirror', 'selection toys', the Fredo tools I have loaded... etc.

      Something I'm doing wrong?
I've tried hitting 'Save current window size' or similar, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

this is a bug that i've reported at least 3 times (well, not 'officially' reported but i have had a couple of one-on-one discussions with members of the su team.. including j.bacus and they all acknowledged the problem)

set up your toolbar as you like... close the window or quit sketchup

relaunch sketchup and you'll see that your customized toolbar is no longer showing the tools..

open a new window and the tools are now present πŸ˜• πŸ˜’

as far as i can tell, when launching sketchup, the window is created before the program digs into the plugin folder to see what you have in there.. (i.e.- it loads the window then loads the plugins)... imo, this should happen in the opposite order so that when the first window is created, su is already aware of your plugins and which icons you have in your custom toolbar..

fwiw, i've been going on about this for years now.. i've pretty much given up on them ever fixing it so by default when i launch sketchup, i always give it a cmmdW -> cmmdN (close window -> open new window)..

(and that only works if you don't have one of those pesky plugins which alters a new window prior to you doing anything to it.. if you have one of those plugins, you'll have to close the window -> answer the 'would you like to save?' prompt -> open new window)

i see, pretty much what i've noticed after testing a few things.
            frustrating, for sure.
i think i got rid of the plugin i had hanging around that would ask the 'save' question.
            that was annoying as well.
