Hi, I am trying to create a "folded" "faceted" "origami" skin/shell for my building which is no problem until I try to add some thickness to it. I have looked into creating a dynamic component but to my knowledge this won't help to achieve the end goal. Ideally, I would like to create the various planes as components and then replace them with a component that has depth and real world structure. The problem however is that each component would need to have a unique shape while having similar instanced structure that would be editable as the project progresses (dreaming even more, would be to have this structure editable in the same manner as a dynamic component).

Any ideas how this could be achieved, in part or in full?

Thank you in advance for your time.
