Vacation Homes - Australian beach house style

Beautiful design, sir.

Echoing everyone's sentiment. The design is top notch and not your typical presentation either.
Do you use a studio HDRI for this type of render?
-
Hey Richard
I have always been an admirer of your minimalistic approach in your renderings, which also reflect your designs.
The massing and material choices are perfect. -
Hey stranger! You've been workin on this one for a while now, eh? Nice.
Flying down your way today; won't have time to catch up at the Piermont Pub this time but back down in May for DesignEx for a few days R&R so shoudl drop a schooner or 10... again.

Thanks guys!!!
Yeah this has been on the board for SO LONG! We struck some shite with the rural fire services so the whole thing changed (reduced 16 > 9) with that the whole concept needed to be reconsidered to ensure it was workable - hence the rethink on single dwellings v's increased options. Which IMHO works well.
I'm getting thirsty Andrew!!

Richard you know I've become a really big fan of yours -- the Layout presentation and the Maxwell render are both super classy
Best,
jason. -
Feeling reciprocated Jason - thanks mate! As mentioned this has been a long time project but a fun one though freakin difficult given the extreme slopes I'm dealing with from both axis.
-
Sorry Cheffey mate I posted this reply to the wrong thread - put them to my Low Poly Car Thread.

Thanks Cheffey!! Mate it's just sky dome with sun on. This is great tool with fire now, you can increase the sky dome intensity and decrease the sun power way down to pull shadows back. The adjustment is a bit crude and you have to be careful with sun temp but the results can almost be like a studio setup. This is just a fire export. I haven't been using the main engine for a while.

Cool. What was the rendering time?
Oh dude I'm not sure! I'm not one to even take notice really - certainly not long, maybe 20min! The original is certainly a lot cleaner and crisp than when downsized by the forum software.
-
20 mins is far from bad. I ought to give MW2 a spin.

Mate is a gem as you can adjust materials, light and camera real time - I love it!

Great design and render Richard
