Hi from Angola

Hi, I am David
I am a dreamer, and I see Angola's development using tecnology.
We will held elections in September. I am developing a Political social network, where everybody can participate and be a candidade for the the local government, National Assembly or Senate.
On the Social Network, I would like to use google earth and Sketchup to propose projects.
For example, Luanda does not have a mass transportation plan. My idea is to sketch in Google Earth de project including the main station downtown, and if possible in a open source type collaboration.
It is allowed? How can I do it?
Today downloaded Sketchup and had my first lesson.
It is incredible and a great tool for "on line governance", and for the developing countrys.
Cheers

David, attached is a PDF file containing the article The Drawing Board from the Urbanite magazine (June/2009, Issue No.60) in which you can see how people from Baltimore are inviting the community to give some ideas in a transit system project, by using Google Sketchup.
So far, I donāt know how the project is doing (I donāt live there) but you can get some ideas.
