      Anyone using it?

      http://pinterest.com/

Looks like it could be an amazing tool for design inspiration.

If you see a toilet in your dreams do not use it.

I saw pinerest and it seems to be too "chick" oriented, then stumbled upon

        http://gentlemint.com/

        which is more guy oriented.

not sure I would mess with either, they seem to be just selecting the pre-cannned clips that appeal to you the most. Not very creative on the surface. Didn't look to see how easy to add your own content. Both for folks with too much time on their hands.

I don't use it very much for 2 reasons:

          1. I started a pinterest page for design visualization stuff, and most of what I would want to post is images from this forum. BUT, you have to be logged in to see images from this forum. So none of my friends would be able to see the content I post. Pointless.

          2. And mainly I never sit around and surf through other people's pins. I prefer to make content, not pass along other people's content. Know what I mean? And one of the key etiquette rules of pinterest is that you're not supposed to pin your own stuff. I suppose its a good rule for lots of reasons, but it doesn't suit my needs I guess.
