      I made this dynamic component: handrails with an element/design centered.

      As you stretch the component, the element stays in the center and more balusters are added. The distance between balusters varies depending on the total length of the component, but it's meant to never exceed a distance that would allow a 4" diameter object to pass thru. (The center design is no code compliant, but that is an easy fix 😉 ).

      My issue is that when I place it in my model, it goes to 0,0,0 instead of allowing me to specify where I want to put it.

        You must put all the components in one global component. In this case, the origin will be the inner 0,0,0 of the global component and this one can be move anywhere.
