Hey, I'm looking at making a straight skeleton implementation for Sketchup, similar to the one shown here.
Anybody know of anything similar already existing that I can have a look at (sketchup/ruby specific or not) or any ideas on how to detect the correct order of events?

      Thanks in advance.

One of the links in the references, on that page, leads here:
Scroll down to the "GRAPHICS ALGORITHMS" section.

        • I think someone has already made something similar. (RoofMaker ?)

        I'm not here much anymore.

And this Google search produces results: "sketchup roof maker plugin"

            I'm not here much anymore.

The 'Housebuilder' plugin does the framing for roofs and floors/walls/openings etc...
See the Plugins Index or the 'crai' Depot [Didier Bur's]...
Thrre are two versions - one for metric and the original for feet/ins...
