Simple Artisan examples collection

..now that is amazing...
I'm always very surprised by the results you guys achieve in modeling organic shapes lately. Impressive. Great model! -
I would say that chair is not so simple.. but it's amazing how elegantly all that is worked out from a proxy that is simpler than you'd expect. I find that by only observing this thread, each time I try Artisan is better and more fun.

Nice, thanks for sharing (if you like, you can add the proxy to play with
).A little tip: you can use TIGs splitdonut (as a part of splittools) to improve the subdivision ...

Hey, cotty:
I really like your gallery. It is nice to see some of your examples in one place. I went through the whole collection. The lens refraction study was interesting. All of the examples are excellent

Here's something of a rainy afternoon. An ode to mushroom season (what to avoid) and a "THANKS!" to Cotty. Not so elegant, but REALLY simple.

:
I accidentally made a brush of it in GIMP, so I added some babies.

mmmm, donuts. Excellent! Thanks Cotty. I will edit the post so it shows a better proxy. I plan to do more mushrooms...

Hi,
I decided to be more serious about modelling...
I think I might be on the right track and decided to share some models on the warehouse.
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/search?uq=1106685347342413624736238&scoring=mI still need to understand why it's better to model with quads or tris only.
And how to do it.If anyone can explain this to me briefly, I'd be thankful!
