Grainy Rendering Issues with Podium's lighting
-
Hello,
I've been having a lot of issues with with my podium renders looking very grainy lately and am hoping for some advice. I've seen a couple other threads with this problem, but not a lot of answers for it.
In my example below, I have two different LEMs lighting the scene; 1. under the cabinet soft lighting and 2. the ceiling lighting (recessed canned lighting). The 5 LEMs under the cabinets render fine, with smooth lighting and no graining. But the 10 lights in the ceiling produce a very grainy effect off of every close surface they illuminate.
A good example of this is in the first picture with the light on the tile in the foreground underneath the window, the areas that are lit are very grainy. You can definitely see the difference here up against the shadow line.
The LEMs under the cabinets (that render fine) are at about 60 light power, while the LEMs in the ceiling are at 20 high intensity light power. Could this be the problem? Are they too high power? If so, any remedies?
I'm new to the forums and any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much.

Lower the light intensity, save out as an hdr, adjust lighting in Photoshop.
