      Hello,

I'm using Sketchup mostly for two dimensional drawings.
However, sometimes I find it necessary to highlight certain parts of my work. Up till now, I would export it to some image format, then highlight it in Powerpoint or any similar programme. I realised that wasn't a very smart approach because Sketchup uses vector graphics, so I can get those models in as high resolution as I wish - so I better do the highlighting in Sketchup as well (in addition, it will obviously be more accurate).
I thought a bit and found a trick - to highlight something, I would simply draw the shape I want to highlight, fill it with some opacity, and put it above the relevant drawing - that way I get opacity and highlighting. If I view the model from above, with no perspective, it looks like I want it to look.
I can export this to some image format and be happy.
Then I thought to myself, why stop here? As I'm using the pictures in a Word document, which will be exported to a PDF file, I can use the vector graphics, and that way I will have "infinite resolution", which is pretty important for me. However, exporting is as an EPS file loses the opacity.

Is there any way to bypass this problem?

      Thanks,
      Ron.
