Well I will do my best to accomodate you. I've never been anybody's favorite before.

Ya are now.

David I think you are one of the people who could use an Inking to great advantage.

Wow! That is soooooo Awesome. I actually have been looking for an iPad app, or something like that to play with that comfortably bridges these 2 worlds - - -
Now I know what to ask Santa for next Christmas!
Thanks for the link!

I want one of those, too. From what I've read about the software for it, it might be a good idea to wait and see if they improve it.
-
that's why I can wait until next xmas!

For the Ipad you can't beat Sketchbook, in my opinion.
I have the pro version for android and it works perfectly.
You can download and try the express version for free, but I'm pretty sure you will quickly move to the pro version.http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sketchbook-pro-for-ipad/id364253478?mt=8

Cool. I had thought about that. Another friend of mine used Pro-create. . .but I don't know. Thanks for the tip!

So I am flying home from Toronto a few days ago,and my layover due to weather in Chicago kept us pinned down for 8 hours. .. On the Plane! we were allowed to deplane a few time during that ordeal--but still . . . it was awful. They had to de-ice the plane 3 times! but it gives one lots of time to doodle in one's sketchbook. . .so here's what I did. . .(Truth in advertising. . .not all of these were done on that one day. . .but most were. .. )

These are all really good! I wouldn't call em doodles. They're pieces of art! I love the way you depict light and shade. Great work!
-
Thanks. . .
i'm blushing. . .

Great sketches Dave.
Edit: I just now noticed you are in Salt Lake City Utah. Also this morning I stumbled upon an artist who lives in Provo, Jake Parker http://agent44.com/
Know him?

yeah . .that's great stuff. Obviously a very talented guy. I am hoping to get more into this digital type stuff as well, but ihis is obviously a different domain than mine.
I like cartooning and such, and originally thought about doing that kind of stuff ---we're talkin' the early 80's of course, so there was no Adobe Illustrator.
So. . I became an architect.

Great stuff... i wish i could see you drawing one ..
