Well, maybe you shouldn't be modeling and rendering while drinking mistyped FOV and thought it was different for sure this a better one using KT MLT_BPT. Got a long way to go to measure up to the standards here.

          Welcome C&C Thanks for looking

Thanks, still have lots of changes to do.
I found the tile at CG Textures http://www.cgtextures.com/index.php and I think the plant came from model library at Kerkythea or the 3D warehouse.

This a good tutorial on how to take a texture and make a bump map and normal map in Gimp

Its not a bad render. There are lots of little things - the floor tiling is off for example.

Its the image setup that still needs help. What are you trying to show? The main thing to me is the floorspace in front of the camera, because there is so much space there. BUT, there is no object there. So if you're trying to show the cooking space, zoom in a bit. OR do something to add the most interest to it. Things like items on the counters, candles, cooking utensils, something steamy on the stove, light on in the oven, hanging hand towels. Its very sterile, so your eye can absorb the whole image in a split second and then get bored and want to move on. Adding the little detail objects really helps keep people interested in the image.

All the floorspace also needs to be addressed. Maybe its a beautifully set table with nice glassware and silverware. Somthing like that. Or zoom in more and crop it out a bit, but you could still add the edge of the table int he view still, to help set the kitchen mood.

So for me, I think the render quality is decent, its the details of the model and image composition that are missing.

                Good luck!

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.
