Wishes for sketchup9: better select and snap managements

hi everyone, few days ago i found a plgin named selection manager, it remind me of the convenient select functions in photoshop, but soon i realised that it can't meet my requirments, because in photoshop, selections can be saved automatically, while selection manager couldn't, besides, name the selections is so annoying, let alone keep it in mind. once you lost your selection, it's too late. i don't know ruby at all, that problem might be solved by a plugin though, but i'm looking foward to a new selection system inside sketchup 9, rather than plugins.

sorry for my chinglish, as a student, my vocabulary and grammar are so poor that i have to use google translate to express my opinions... the next idea about selection is undo and redos , the same as photoshop, you know, it's a very important part in such programs, like alpha channel, actually selection manager can help solve this, but i want a more convienient way just as ctrl+shift+z in photoshop, rather than right click&save it.

as for snaps, i have to say that the snap range is too large in sketchup, it captures edges and faces, but in many cases i want to snap the specifc points only(like ACAD), when it comes to large models, one snap mistake will lead to a series of problems, so i suggested that there would be an option bar or hotkeys to define snap ranges like F3 in ACAD.
