Importing CAD in Sketchup_Broken and crooked lines

Hi, I am importing topography lines from CAD to sketchup. The lines show up crooked, they cross each other and even some do not appear. Does anyone know what is causing this? Thanks in advance for the help.

Can you provide a screen capture if not the file? Which CAD program? Did you indicate your operating system?

Try importing at the correct units, in the import dialog and the options menu. Perhaps it should be meters.I had better results with that.
In fact that doesn't seem big enough. The whole topo would only be about 30M across, is that right? I think the dwg is out of scale.
