I'm trying (following on from my query http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=41324 ) to build a series of components to represent trees, and enable their counting using either TIG's Component Report++ or using Space Design.

What I want is have a 2D component that I can drop into place and add attributes to it (that is I want each component to have unique attributes). I have made components unique using the right-click option.
shows icons, component options, component attributes and expanded attributes for tree health
The minimum info I want to hold on each tree is it's species, height, trunk diameter, provenance (where it comes from) and health.

But a few problems - I can't find anything about entering List Option and Value area values - for instance I want to have a option to be able to say whether a tree is healthy or dead etc, but what should I be entering?

Also is there a way to have a different coloured fill depending on a selection? e.g. if a plant is 1 metre tall the component instance changes to a red fill, but with a 2 metre plant it gets agreen fill?

OR have I got the wrong end of the stick and DCs are not suitable for this kind of thing - ? (it's not sexy, no moving parts (maybe just some changing colours)
