The leading edge of the wings seems too flat... it will cause tremendous turbulence in a planet's atmosphere and i'm pretty sure it will crash and kill your pilot ... maybe you will round it a little

Just to be clear, this model was a .blend file I found a few months back. I'm currently testing a new Polycrunching/UV Mapping app that's kinda like Deep Exploration. So I dug this outta a HDD to test it.
The rest was left in the capable hands of Thea.
A straight up import of the exported Blender file in SketchUp was 79mb. But after some re-topology in Β£$%@~#Up it's below 40mb. Though it crashed about 6 times before I got it into SU.
This was for shits and giggles only.

OMG ! Really large model! and it doesn't seems too complex. Maybe there are large textures ? Or is just raw model?

I did try this on a nebula HDR I found but it didn't have a nice feel to it. In fact it look absolutely awful. So if anyone has a nice suggestion I'd like to hear it.
