I am looking for a low cost (under $200) AVI editor. Things I need it to do:

      Basic clipping/editing/joining of AVI's
      Adding text
      Basic transitions
      Screen capture capability

The hard part is it needs to be "easy enough for a sales guy to use it".

      Any help is appreciated,
      Scott

            Tig,

I don't think movie maker does screen video capture.

See CaptureWizPro http://www.pixelmetrics.com/ which does all of that for <$40 .... if the basis Windows Snipping tool etc are insufficient...

                Tig,

Does Capturewixpro save a screen capture as a video format or as a bunch of images that need to be pieced together?

I think you can do it both ways - I know it does a AVI movie OR an image... you can easily extract images from an AVI if you need to...
