      Very sad news ๐Ÿ˜ž
I never imagined that the death of a person I didn't knew personally will affect me ๐Ÿ˜• . It did. Was he that old?
I learned a lot from this community and I'm not talking about sketchup, but about dedication, about selflessness. Let's just hope we will not get such news in near future.

      Rest in peace!

No, I believe Wesley was only 65 or there abouts. I will try to locate his daughter's, Elizabeth's address and send all these heart felt wishes. I am sure it will bring her some small comfort knowing more about an area of Wesley's life that she may not have been aware of.

      ๐Ÿ‘

He had many friends his daughter may not be aware of, even if we are online, we are real people displaced by geography only.

Mike, thank you for the news. It is very sad news. I am fortunate to have had a moment to seek advice and insight from Wesley via pm. Just one of the lucky members that was able to tap into one of the forums responsible and helpful power members. My thoughts are with his family and the design communities in California and Hawaii that will miss him.

one of the great things about our architectural profession is that our structures and teachings last long after we are gone... perhaps someone could put together a small gallery of Wesley's work in honor...

I know him not personally but as a forum member, I will miss him also. But it's always sad when someone leaves us.

Wow! What a bolt out of the blue. Wesley was a great character and a very valuable contributor to this forum. I will very much miss chatting with him. So very sad...and so very young in this day and age. My thoughts are with his family; they must be devastated.
Having spent the whole of last weekend in hospital myself, wired up like a cyborg after collapsing in the bathroom, it really makes you realise how tenuous life can be. (Turns out it was just a hit and run virus that resulted in my blood pressure going through the floor for a few hours...scary though)
I really will miss his company and kind comments.

                              WOW, sad news.

Had wondered recently why I hadn't seen posts from him. Though I never interacted with him did enjoy his posts and felt a kinship as he was the closest forum member to where I live that I was aware of.
