A Little Offfice
-
I've been going to see a woman who teaches something called Feldenkrais as well as some other techniques in an attempt to get some relief from the adhesive capsulitis I've been dealing with this year. She practices in this tiny little one room building with windows on all sides. I have been coveting that little building to have as my office. In response to a claim on another forum that SketchUp is clumsy at best for drawing framing for buildings, I decided to bang out a representation of that little building. Here it is. It's far from complete but I think it got the point across and using House Builder, it was extremely fast.
I think I'll go out to the back yard and see if there's room for it.

Very nice, Dave.
Nice and sturdy, well thought out, pleasing lines and proportions, and you're not even finished. All of those openings just force the issue of having to go buy curtains, or blinds, though, if you are going to put your modeling rig in there. -
Thank you sir. You make a good point. I don't want everyone to see my model. She's all mine.
I suppose some shutters or something would be appropriate.

I guess that depends where in the country you are, here in Texas it would be blinds, shutters and UV protection glass.

But then, your "model", as you infer, might appreciate the opportunity to assist in this project.
