I'm making a planter in sketchup. On one face the brick texture aligns perfectly but on the other it stretches. What is the solution to this problem?

It's projected and on the left face it appears correctly but the perpendicular face it only repeats the last pixels. Right click > texture > uncheck projected.

Are you clicking on the face (not a group or anything)?

Well, if it does not want to behave, repaint it with that texture sampled from the material browser.

Now I tryed to do what you did and found and easy solution.
                    open paint bucket tool
Right click texture object - make unique texture
Then bucket paint it to the other sides
