Hi I have an extruded piece ( Like 5 ply with lots of holes cut in it like swiss cheese)I wish to stack them but it is really cranking my computer. Is there a way to make it more managable ( similar to collapsing the stack in Max)Does making it a component or group help this?

      Thanks guys

If you divide up the ply's by planar hidden smoothed lines to smaller chunks the performance will increase. My understanding is that the core polygon engine has some inefficient algorithm for large ply's with many holes in them.

        cheers
