Is there a good Disc Burning software like Nero that allows drag and drop interface. The software should also have the facility of refresh. For example I burn a document on that disc. I work on that document [in my PC] for few days, so it changes. When I insert the disc, for the multisession, the software automatically detects the updated document and burns the file [replacing the original old file]. I'm currently using nero 6 [free version] that came along as a freebie when I bought a PC 5 years ago . πŸ˜‰. πŸ˜†
I've already tried BurnAware and PowerISO. πŸ‘Ž They're good but lack this refresh facility.

Yeah, let me stop you there. Nero isn't good, it's the mother of all bloatware.

If you wan't something simple and free [and funny on occasion] try Imgburn πŸ‘

I need the software to have a refresh function that updates the files. There must be an alternative. I'm using a 5 year old version. πŸ˜•

Yeah, I agree with "allanx", but is a free (and old) version, thought it works very well.

After almost 2 years that I installed my OS on this computer, I had to write a CD first last week so I grabbed the first that looked simple enough (happened to be CDBrnerXP also suggested by Aerlius above).

I do not know if it can overwrite existing data but it has been a really long time since I haven't had a rewritable CD anyway (where it would be justifiable). Best is (if you really have to burn a CD at all nowadays) to write it at the end.

I almost upload/download faster than a CD is burnt so sending files nowadays is easier online. For storing? Get a HD and you end up cheaper.

                      Gai...

I say dump CD and DVD altogether, they are old tech and become the floppy drives of the day. We have solid memory these days with way more capacity and prices that go down daily as capacity goes up.

Walmart sells 2GB flash drives for $5 and 10GB for $12, I'm sure you could even beat that price at a computer store.

Well, I have a stock of 50 (now only 49) writeable DVD's. Since I began my freelancing small business, this was the first time the client wanted a "hard copy" of the product (a movie) and this was the only way to deliver.

Sigh... What can I say? Eurocrats with their 50-year-old rules. Good they did not want it on film.
