Another Practice Render

Kerkythea.
BTW, where can I find a good support board for this reneder? The one I've found is very slow to no replies to posts and "resource" seem few.
I realize it's free so I do not expect too much. Free is all I can afford right now.
I DO have a trial of Podium, but I can't seem to get the hang of it at the moment, although I will keep trying.

Nice rendering Brian!
What render setting did you use, and which version of Kerky are you using? There is a new beta version currently being called "Boost" with much improved speed and a 64 bit version. While the forum is nowhere nearly as active as here - there are quite a vfew very knowledgeable people that frequent and are very helpfull.
As far as resources - what are you looking for specifically. with regards to materials - they have a rather extensive library available in the download area, and additional user materials in the forum. Not sure if I can answer your question, but I will look for it over on the forum.
BTW - I think there are some astronauts somewhere on the warehouse that might be more in keeping with your subject than the walking guys you have in there now.

Thanks Dean.
I'm not using Boost, so, as near as I can tell, it is probably the basic, older version.
The kind of support I'm looking for is more for tech support. The first problem I've encountered is that Kerky models won't import. The basic set of primitives that came with the program work just fine, all the others, don't. I don't even know if I've installed them right and all the documentation is sparse and not very detailed.
The people in this picture represent the modern state of spaceflight. Most techs and engineers dress in regular clothes days.

Hi Brian - Happy 4th!
So - is your model import issue foing from su to kerky or are you trying to go the other way? I have never tried getting a model from kerky back the other way - I have always utilized kerky as more of arendering studio at the end of the line. Since you rendered this image already - i assume you have the su-kerky exporter installed. So - maybe you are referencing the kerky objects such as the chairs and trees, etc. that can be downloaded from the site. If so - the basic concept is that you download the model zips from the kerky site and then unzip them to the models folder in tha app folders. Now the models import from the insert tab and you should be able to select them the same as the primitives. Models inport to asingle befault axis location within the model - so you then need to select the model in the tree listing at the left and then can move it in the working screen view by grabbing the gizmo that is with it. Not as easy as in su - but it works.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Dean.
My problem is getting the Kerky models, from the Kerky models library, to load on the render stage.
Some of them will, some of them won't.
