Photo Rendering for furniture

Looking for a little guidance. I do furniture building and do all my design and cut list in sketchup. I would like to be able to create photo realistic renderings from my drawings. I have tried some of the free rendering software and just don't know how to tweak the settings. Are there any companies or individuals out there to assist in either helping we get the correct settings and materials setup or to do the rendering for me. I would like to be able to present a detail drawing and photo rendering for each piece I build. Like they say a picture is worth a 1000 words.
