Hi, Adam:
That was a pleasure to watch. Thank you. -
Cool ..... Adam, you are the second man that I know of that can 'walk on water'

So great Adam, I love it! What an awesome piece of software you've got there.

realtime raycast reflections
Thank you! I really need this for my house videos. So, does this mean the end of the irrcaches? Or will the new reflections only work with planar surfaces?

IrrCaches still have their use. In the realtime graphics / video games field they are widely used because they offer good performance/quality trade-off. Remember, in the general case, GPUs cannot perform true reflections in realtime. You try creating a curved mirror surface in LumenRT etc and see.
So LightUp Next takes your suggestion Ecuadorian, of allowing embedding of IrrCache in a Group/Component to limit its effect but totally flat mirrored surfaces are treated using this new process.

Really great! -
Indeed very cool. Is it going to be available in LightUp any time soon?

Yep, should be in the next release (v2.2) so Retail customers get it as a free upgrade.
