Hello.
I'm new to this application and drawing on computers overall.
Just tried this application and it seems good for my needs, though i cant for my life understand how to change the scale when for example drawing a line.lets say i start a new template with A3 landscape paper.
I draw a 100 mm line, but what i want is that line to represent, say, 10 meters (10,000 mm).How can i accomplish this ?
Thanks.

After you draw the line, and before you do anything else, you can just type the length that you want the line to be, and SU will resize it. Note the length dimension that shows up in the box on the bottom right. Or, you can re-scale the line, or the entire model, by measuring a dimension with the tape measure and then typing the length that you want it to be.

in SketchUp you draw in real size... not scale. you can show your drawing in Layout or another program with scale. there is no scaling in SketchUp... only Layout.

Kris, this is in the LayOut forum...
Lewder, you do not draw anything in Layout. That is only to annotate your model that was drawn (modelled) in SketchUp and then sent to LayOut.
