I hope you read this before I'm kicked out. No,I am not a current sketchup user but am trying to rebuild an in active system of many years. I am trying to design it using sketchup as a base & importing graphics I have created in various formats over the years. I am an ergonomic engineer (now widowed) with unique skills who has been taking care of a sick spouse for the past 7years & now needs to get back to my profession. All my time, effort, & cash has been long spent (ie: I'm busted) but in the process I've learned about the strengths & weakness of human body that can be realized in no other way. Please help if you can. The only decent system that I'm currently using is my blackberry bold the rest is 5 to 25 years old. In all likelihood I've forgotten more about pixalation & Besier curves & architecture than most designers will ever need. I was really looking forward to using a tablet but so far they seem to be little more than hitec toys & not capable of doing any thing serious. Please prove me wrong! I still believe that it should be possible to create organic usable accessible VR worlds for the disabled community using common tools on a 802. wireless distributed net. Leveraging our knowledge should be what we're all about. For example SJ once said that a certain CEO was taking the company in the wrong direction by not making Apple's code the bench mark for the computing industry. That never happened so we've seemed to have run into a mess where down loading what should be simple files is almost impossible. Blah! My first objective is to get a population that is getting older up out of bed or chair or on the floor up & around their homes, out the door, down the hall into & around their or community gardens, getting active, communicating with neighbors & so on. Helping live fruitful active lives using RTOS's. I believe that google's programs (inc: sketchup) should allow for those possibilities. Again please help if you can. There is a lot more too this including micro & macro self assembly systems - so, why not. I hope I've been clear enough & have not muddied the waters. I'd love to be part of the team! Well I'll say thanks in advance. Peace & love, NJz Iz0PnYDe (Nickolas J has eyes open wide)
